Health Journal Articles Why Do Women Keep Secrets About Their Health?

Why do women keep secrets about their health? - health journal articles

I'm working on a thesis, the understanding African American women's share their negative experiences of health research. Some of the questions I want to ask and answer, is covered by this research:
1. What are the reasons to keep secret?
2. What is the advantage that secrets?
3. What is the consequence of preserving the secrets?
4. What is the social stigma, health problems associated with the negative?
5. What is fear?

Any help or suggestions you can (ie, the answers to these questions, research reports, journals, personal testimonies, etc., would offer) will be greatly appreciated.

A look at the Tuskegee Syphilis Study quickly on the origin and legitimacy of African-Americans distrust the U.S. health care system (Tuskegee Study was an important step in ethics in general and the science is a serious disregard for the health and the welfare of his subjects of African-Americans to achieve their goals - if you have not heard from him, he deserves to be familiar):

However, like people in general, medical and personal information confidential and shall be published if often used as a weapon against someone who may be (especially if they also diagnostic or treatment in connection with conduct stigmatized as sexually transmitted diseases, "sin cancer , illness, or even that) they are unpleasant symptoms. Above all, not just African-American women would be well advised to be careful with your health information, but relatively recent history is no basis for African-Americans to exercise caution tothe medical facility.
