I worked for both. I would say that Wachovia, like Bank of America, at least when I was there last, the $ 5.00 flat fee ATM in addition to their conversion. Wachovia does not. Apart from this, almost the same.
Visa and Mastercard are therefore irrelevant. If you look at Visa and MasterCard, the other one may be lighter-than others.

Make sure you call your bank, so they know who the country. In this way they will not put yourself, your credit card fraud.
